ok. off ill and bored ****less. get a fone call. hello lee blah blah usual ****. basically i can have a free fone upgrade, or pay a little for a better one, or money back, or better contract. so i express with delight i would be interested in the brand new Nokia 6260. (added a little smile to my face). sorry sure that fone isnt out yet. (ok i knew that but i its out tomorrow) so can i order it and it will be sent day after next? er no cos it aint showing up on our system for coming out untill after zmas on a vodafone network. strange i think to my self so i ask her to call me back in 15 mins.

mean time....

off to www.phones2udirect.co.uk, find the phone i want with a better contract than they offering and with more cash back sounds sweet. except phone isnt out yet. so i give then a ring.... yes mate there in tomorrow ill send it tomorrow night and it will be there thursday. ok i say ill call back in a min.

then....

vodafone call back i explain about the webby and how i can have it all better than there offering and she thought i was lying. so i ask for her manager and explain to him. he was a nice and helpful. basically said i have to send a letter to vodafone cancling my old contract. whih takes 30 days. then get eh new one done.as thats the only way i can get that fone.

FFS this world is a conspiracy against me. when ever i want something i cant, when ever i want to go some where i cant, when will this missery end????

very upset and ill Smee

Re: What's a 6260 ???

You tried looking for any phone deals on overclockers ;) j/k.

Are you still within the 1 year contract period with Vodafone? Surely that will cost to get out of. Plus you will need a PAC code to ensure continuity of number....

Re: What's a 6260 ???

Are you on Vodafone or Singlepoint Vodafone (as offered by phones 4 u)? Because if you're on one you can switch to the other and it counts as a new contract, all you need is the PAC number and it's like switching networks completely so you can cross over the end of one contract with the start of another. As I discovered with o2 and Singlepoint o2.

Re: What's a 6260 ???

im with vodafone. not to worry. ill send them a really offensive letter. tellin them i want my fone switched off in 2 weeks instead of the usual 4. and explain my the pain and inconvieniance (sp) of having to send my number out to all my friends work and business clients. all because they cant give me the fone i want on the tariff i want for the price voda are offering else where. :D sure they will get the point. but i did have a look at one of those 3 fones. might tell them i might be going there. see wat they say
