I can't make Brooklands either, its wrong time of year for me (couple of days after t'other halves birthday and anniversary of her sisters death on the actual day this year - thus just not happening!)

Stanford Hall and MITCAR though i will prob be at both, or aim to be at both anyway.

Not quite sure why, but I'm getting impatient! I think it's because I've had a couple of rubbish months - everything seems to have been going wrong & I was ill for weeks. No car stuff to distract me either.

I've taxed something today, ready for 1st April, so next on the list is making sure it starts after Winter hibernation. Ahhhh

I nearly taxed Vicky today to take out for a run, but am leaving it until Tuesday, not taxing today and paying for the whole month and only getting 3 days of it

Should have said I've taxed it for the start of the month Easier for me to go today than in the week.

Nope, been on sorn. Did it at the Post Office if that makes any difference.

I didn't think they could do that if on SORN as you could put the disk in the screen now and drive it as it shows as taxed

Anyone want to discuss gearbox oil...?

Don't think it will show as taxed until the start of the month, must be able to do it though as I have a disc infront of me that expires at the end of September, which is 6 months from the start of April.

I did mine online today from Sorn. Didn't think you could, but they must have changed it (dug all the paperwork out as well, ready for the trek to the post office!! :bang: ).

When I went through the screens it gave me the choice of taxing from 1/3 or to start on 1/4. Apparently you now have 14 days to legally drive without the disc if you've bought it online - it came with warnings that I still couldn't take it onto the road until 1st April or I'd be shot - well something like that, anyway!
