It's an illusion, because you'll probably fancy that music more than other music so it looks like you're faster at your destination.
I had the feeling a few times, though the number of cars on the road can make an difference. when the roads are busy you'll need more time to reach your destination.

They are... I mean they are? I dont get personally attached to my cars they all return to their natural Ferrous Oxide eventually anyhow, no blo*dy loyalty cars have they...

If i put it to loud it seems to do silly things like fall out of gear.. 15 on my radi is brilliant. Shes a proper raving panda!
Sparky has no stereo so I can't comment on types of music but I will say this: The faster I go the louder and more interesting the sounds get!!

I skated across the car park, started her up, scraped, put on the stereo facia and plugged the hard drive into th USB slot.
Now the stereo is set to 'shuffle' so any guesses on it's choice of tracks ? (hint, it's by Camel)

Im glad i'm not the only one that thinks this - my neighbours think im nuts talking to baz whilst washing him or ice scrapping - or have i gone too far??!!??
As for music, baz goes on total shutdown at anything classical and seems to love anything with a bit of:slayer:

When I had my Impreza I could put on a Slipknot CD and get there before I set off..
Not that anyone else on the road was impressed..

Close but SLIGHTLY more modern, I will say that you are on the right lines
Drove in to work on Guns n Roses the other day and home on morcheeba. Made very little difference as once up to speed I can barely hear it anyway!!!
