Technical Does anyone have a Witter FT68 Towbar? Need help!

Hi Everyone,
Just bought a witter FT68 towbar, when looked at sheet it says there is a left and right hand bracket (c+d on sheet)
Are these needed to fit this towbar or are they extras spare incase your Punto needs these ?

yes they are needed it spreads the load to the chassis legs if you don't fit them i think you will be able to see your trailer getting further and further away in your rear view mirror

Insert Brackets (C) and (D) into chassis rails and loosely secure with fasteners

they are what holds the towing bracket to the chassis
