I have a 2013 Doblo diesel van. I am having absolute nightmare problems that no mechanic can seem to solve ,or is interested in doing so.
Please bear in mind, I am not mechanically minded ,so it's all frustrating and stressful for me.
The problem is from time to time it is cutting out on me, so i have no trust in driving it now.
What I do know for certain, is that it is NOT any of the following
Starting motor
Battery
Fuel pump /filter
My mechanics view is that it is a bit of a needle in a hay stack issue. Possibly wiring or computer issue ,giving false reading. He has tried quite a few possibilities, and has really tried.
Has anyone had similar

I paid 4600 for van last year, low mileage and in very clean condition. Now I'm been offered around € 2000 by garages and mechanic.

I would get a good Auto Electrician to run diagnostics on it with live data possibly to give an accurate diagnosis.
If it runs perfectly all the rest of the time, then sounds like an electrical fault or bad connection, so not something to condemn the vehicle for or "give" it away at a low price.
Some Fiats have bad earthing problems which is quite common.
You haven't mentioned how it gets going again or any symptoms.
A very common issue on many vehicles that suddenly die when fully warmed up , but restart shortly after when cooled down for ten minutes or so is the Crankshaft Position Sensor, which appears to "cure" it's self with no other work done.
I have had it happen on a couple of vehicles over the years. In my case the fault could be read with a good diagnostic tool plugged in to the OBD port on vehicle.

As above if its when it warms up I would change the crank sensor seems to be a common problem on Fiats.
They are cheap to buy and easy to change.
