I have a wire hanging down by the front left hand side below turbo that doesn't seem to be connected to anything, is this just a spare cable ??

Hi,
as far as i know spare wires hanging around is not usual car design. What can be is that wire harnesses are built in that provide wiring equipment for facilities which are not built in every car.

Hi did you ever find out what this is for, I have the same, almost looks like it would have gone to an AC compressor, but mine has never had AC

Ive just found similar cable, did it have a white and a black wire ?

If you have no pugs sockets and wires hanging off your car its not actually a Fiat.
Probably Audi or BMW they are so boring they dont have character things like this to keep the grey cells growing

which is why the drivers of said thngs drive as if in a cocoon in a different dimension quite a lot of the time... Love.........

Is there any chance it might be front fog lights via this connector?

I know what you mean. But I seen online some time ago, that some manufacturers installed the wiring to accommodate if they were installed at a later date.
