Technical do i need a new battery?

Hi guys, ive noticed that when i have my music turned up there is a larger drain/strain on my battery. So much so that when my sub rumbles i can see the light on the clock flash to the beat, i have also noticed that my stereo does the same blinking (does look kinda cool). Is my battery on the way out? can i get a stronger battery, or is there something else i can do?

The effects you're seeing are probably down t othe fact that by turning up the volume you are placing a greater strain on the battery...you're simply drawing more charge.
You could get a second battery installed...or uprate your current...or possibly uprating the alternator might help.

do the big 3 first. its the cheapest option and will reduce and possibly get rid of all these problems.

swap all these three cables to 0AWG cable

battery earth - chassis
engine earth - chassis
alternator - battery possitive.

also if your not already using it, upgrade your amps power and earth leads to a minimum of 4 AWG or preferably 0AWG
