Technical diy job?

just bought a k&n 57i kit for my 1998 r fiat punto 60s but gotta couple of questions;

the item number is 57-0107-1 and is for all 8v mk1 puntos 1994-1999 but there is another that is specifically for fiat punto 60s/sx etc will the other fit my car?

can u install it yourself, how long (approx) does it take?

ppl say its noisier do they mean it gives a louder exhaust note or what?

errrmm it shud fit...???

They are p1ss easy to fit- takes bout 15mins-ish

It doesnt give it a louder exhaust note- its the engine side that gets louder wen u floor it. it takes big gulps of air in- much more than the old air filter used to so the extra noise comes from this (i think)

actually u shud have got the specific 60s kit....have u already got the kit?- just seen the fitting instructions 4 both kits and they are different....

yeah increased noise comes from the extra air going into the induction kit canbe quite a nice noise sort of roar.
