Seems my distributor is leaking oil past it's seal and bearings, out the weep holes and all over the exhaust manifold. Anyone know where to find a rebuild kit? Or another distributor? I've searched all over and can't find such. It's a Marelli s144c single point distributor, on a 1971 spider 1608. Or are there any available distibutors that are interchangeable?

Ya' can't have tried too hard. :p

A quick search using Bing gave the following:-

C.Obert & Co. in Santa Cruz, CA. www.fiatplus.com stocks ign. distributor parts including bearings, seals etc.

Autoricambi in Texas www.autoricambi.us stocks new distributors, electronic conversion kits and also list a rebuild kit for electronic distributors which includes bearings, so they might be able to supply bearings and seal only?

I don't recall these distributors giving much trouble with oil leaks, have you checked for excessive piston blow-by or a blocked crankcase breather?

When you've sorted out the distributor, don't forget there is a gasket where the dist. fits into the cambox.
