What variations were there on the 1.2 8v engine?
Sent mine into garage to get last oil leak sorted, turns out it was the rear crankshaft oil seal (so it's a new clutch aswell)
Only when he went to replace the seal it was completely different to what it was supposed to be! He showed it to me (the part needing replacing) it was a hole maybe the size of a tennis ball with a thin seat attached to a thin cast. Seal couldn't be removed he tried that! Also when ordering a new part from FIAT they didn't recognise the number on the part he removed so presumed there is a different engine than in should have!
definately a 1.2 8v FIAT engine though, it's same as my other 2
