Technical difference between ecu and dashboard clock km

Hi.
Iwouidnt worry about it ..the car is showing less miles then the clocks
So obviously..it hasn't had an haircut as such..

I think you wouid need a set of clocks with low miles so you couid make them show the same miles/match../adjust..


Perhaps original clocks didn't have temp gauge..

Feck it as long as it runs..that's all that matters..

be more worried you've got a punto that says KM when your ID tag says your in GB

Have a look at what ever testing stations or documents the car actually has
See what the records show

for us in the UK our MOT certificates show the past 3 mileages

its an sx, i thought they all came with temp gauge

i got service history when it was bought in 2000 to dec 2013 and last service interval ticket shows 110000 km so why engine ecu shows only 73k

So its all correct

Remember the dash may be over reading a little
After a long period itll be way different

It is possibe the car was company's and the there are ways to put more km on dashboard. This is done for to cover fuel steals. I've seen cars on 90k km on dashboard and 50k on ECU.

mhm could be, but did they fake service intervals tickets thats the real question

I suppose they were done due to dashboard. I guess they were done earlier. Thats ofcourse the car was maintenanced.

No only higher. Otherwise you would have back street car garages all over the place lowering miles on their cars.

called fiat today and they said difference between clocks is probably cuz when car was last time on official fiat garage they entered at which km they serviced it
