Desira in Norwich has my daughters car (2011) and serviced it last week. They also fitted a new air con condenser at my request. The car was delivered back in spotless condition inside and out, and its clear all the work was done. I cannot even see which things they removed to change the air con radiator. I am still pretty impressed with the service department after 10 years they have been consistently excellent. I am hyper critical if things are not right so this really is praise indeed. They are not cheap at all but if you can get things done at the cost quoted, at the time stated, and to a high standard every time its worth paying.

Anyone in the Norwich area should be able to be confident in our local dealer. I watched the service reception staff briefing a young lady about her car and things she needed to know. The way this was done was outstanding. Clear polite and in no way condescending.

I am very pleased to be able to give this garage my seal of approval and thank them for the good work.

I went in yesterday.... they could not have been less helpful then wanted to charge me £40 for an £8 relay.

They are now more a fiat 500 dealer than a fiat dealer looking at their forecourt.

Out of interest how much did a main dealer air con condenser cost ?

Good to hear a good review.

Are they FCA only?

The Branch I use is Fiat, Jeep Alpha and Abarth. I can't say what the other brands garages are like. They do Citroen and Nissan but at a different location.

it was about £23 all in, the part was not OEM, and the labour about 1 hour plus a regassing fee. The Panda required a more expensive type of gas than the standard so I think the gas was about £40.

I suppose there is a minimum hourly charge. Parts are certainly not cheap, but I prefer to know I am not getting touched up with fakes from the far east. Had my fingers burned a few years ago and will not repeat the mistake of thinking cheaper is better. I prefer to have one visit fixes!

Bought a s/h Panda Loung a couple of weeks back. I am pleased to say it was delivered in proper condition and with the agreed pre sale works completed as agreed. SO far the 'new' car is doing what we wanted and looks brand new. Still pleased with the Desira service and have signed up for a service contract as a direct result. Fingers crossed they continue delivering.

I assume you mean the pattern part cost @£23..??

Dyslexic fingers rule. The whole job was £230 The Part was from a local factors and was £95 +vat. The system does run ice cold now so again pleased so far. Hands like shovels and small keyboards dont mix...

I had a problem today, rang up, was told to go straight in, had the car looked at and all was found in order. Had a call not so long `after saying its ready to go.

I was delighted with the cost!!!!! I was expecting to have to pay something!

I have bought new wheels for Nooplebee at least in part as a thankyou for excellent customer service.

Thanks again Desira Norwich.

Sorry for the long slow delayed reply.

At the branch I deal with yes, Jeep, Alfa and Fiat. There are other branched in Norwich and Diss that I know do other brands that certainly includes Nissan and Citroen. I have also dealt with Desira Nissan in Norwich and found them similarly helpful and knowledgeable.

Well my thanks again to Desira who acknowledged the issue regarding my mis-sold 90HP Panda that isn't.

They have helped get a response from Fiat and an get teh muted acceptance of the issue. The compensation agreed has now been paid on full and this, with the manner in which this was done by Desira is worthy of praise and demonstrates the integrity of the dealership. WHile I will not be buting any more new Fiats I will certainly look at the other makes sold by Desira.

I am still mightily annoyed with Fiat and their refusal to stop advertising the Waze as a 90HP model or to regulate the dealers who continue to mis-sell this car. If it is not a criminal act I am amazed.

I have had genuine parts from disira many times in the past but don't just ring up for a price look them up on e bay, here they have a e bay shop and sell the same parts for much less as they are competing with many other fiat dealer on e bay, same for auto world in chesterfield,I wanted a pair of rear brake adjuster's for the doblo, phone price was just over £50 ,each, there e bay shop was £25 each ! Comming from exatcley the same place.

Had a starting problem with Ruby the 312 1.2. It threw up a fault code and said air seepage inlet manifold. Desira diagnosed the problem and sorted out the warranty claim, booked the car in practically the same day and did the work quickly. It seems to be fixed so another good mark for them. They are not cheap, but they do the job properly first time and guarantee their work properly.

I have tried doing things on the cheap and nearly always regretted it.

I still have no reservations about recommending Deisra Heigham Street Norwich with no reservations.

Thanks again to the great team there.

Having owned and used some 84 cars over many years this standard of service is unique. No other garage has maintained the standards as consistently with any of the multiplicity of makes I have had and driven over the best part of 1.7 million miles. My endorsements are not given lightly!

If you don't know about cars and don't want to be ripped off they are a good bet. I really hope they keep it up.

If you want a real lemon try Penta in Reading the worst advice service and work I have ever had. If there is any justice they will have gone bust by now!!!
