Styling Delocking...

Right.. to finish my tailgate off, I need it delocking, know of any decent bodyshops in the NW of England??

Im going to do most of the work myself..lock off, put in a plate, seal it up, cake the hole in fibreglass (P40) filler and finish with filler (P38), its just the spraying i'll need doing...

i don't know of any spary shops mate, but i'd love some advice on how to de-lock, how do you secure the plate in place?

best way is to weld the plate for security although i have seen fibreglass resin used

I was thinking to bolt the plate in place using the bolts that secure the door handle assy on...then chemical metal around it to really hold it in place!!
