I usually do 60 miles per day, but for 2 weeks my car has been parked and been about 3 miles! This morning it is dead! Is this simple flat battery? Lights, etc work but won't start up.

Britannia rescue on way any advice? Thanks

Will they be able to tell easily if battery had it or charge up and be ok?

Thanks for prompt advice

He just stuck a charger on it, which I said doesn't that bust the EMU, he said no this is a booster not a charger. Charged it whilst I started it and said that is it don't turn off for 15 mins and will be fine!

Seems OK, but shouldn't he have checked more?

Cheers

Should have ideally run a battery diagnostics on it.

How old is your battery as anything over 5 years old will be past its best, might be worth investing in a new one if over 5 as the stilo doesn't like low charge in the battery, most people find this out in winter when it's cold and wet (n)

Sounds like it's OK to me.

You really need to go on a long drive to give it a good charge.

My Stilo battery is still good (even in this coldish weather) at over 7 years old so it's obviously a 1st rate battery to start with.

Will likely change mine soon, for another top class battery, as not certain it will be happy in the Alps at a possible -20°C
