Hi all, After refitting bumper on my panda cross after suspension arm replacement, drl not working now, have these drl,s got their own fuse , and if so where is it located. Not really sure if fuse is reason why not working, just want to rule it out,,, i think maybe multiplug needs some attention. Question i hope someone can answer ,is a non functioning daytime running lights a MOT fail, panda cross 2015, any info appreciated, cal

Both of them? They do suffer from bad bulb holders but it's odd that this is coincident with the bumper removal - you didn't accidentally drop the weight of the bumper on the cables? I did, and they break really easily! Sorry I can't help with the fuse and would have to refer to the manual which is available on the FIAT site (on line) if you don't have the printed version.

Not on a 2015 car. You might get an advisory, though.

From the MOT Tester's Manual:

Turned DRL function off in menu, 😉

Not been mentioned for 2 x MOT'S
Even if you hadn't turned them off and only one was working, it would still have been a pass on a 2013 car.

Once the regulations changed, and it became a mandatory roadworthiness requirement to have working DRL's, Fiat removed the option of turning them off in the menu.

My 2013 got annoying with a melted bulb holder pinging the dash warning weekly,

Some garage, 2 different testers
I didn’t think DRL switching was an option in the Panda menu system. It is in the 500 and maybe other models too, but never seen the option in my Pandas (first was old 169 so didn’t have them. But replaced with 2012 model, and by 2017 and 2018 since)

I just replaced a DRL on my 2014 Panda Trekking - which I was able to do through an access panel in the wing liner!
Anyway, fitted new unit a it didn't work. Check plug to bulb holder and as others indicate the centre contact was slightly blackened, so poor contact. Gently tweak of the pin , spray of contact cleaner and refitted, it came on but flickered. So another tweak & all good - it's now trhee weeks since and still fine.
