nice photo shop but all i would have to do is turn my HIDs on
lol, yeah but the problem is, is that these modules have threaded bars coming out the back of them so they have to be bolted in place, and i didnt want to be drilling holes in my bumper so the grill was the best place for them
each to their own i guess, i would use the dectane ones if they were for RHD use which theyre not

No it's not just tunring your lights on, the position of the LEDS on your car is all wrong. No one puts lights on a grille. If you don't have the skills to accomplish a successful mod, I'd say don't even do it.
I dont think he lacks skills Tad, he just doesnt want to drill holes for no reason (in case he does not like it or whatever)... Fair enough I suppose
Your pic is definitly better (but I still dont like this type of lights!), but more importantly it will more compliant with rules as far as mounting the buggers is concerned (height of the ground, distance apart etc)

no need to drill holes, double sided tape does the trick.

They said that about mounting number plates, and look how many of them fall off
Number plates are much heavier and it depends on the brand of the tape, the real 3M rubber type one is rock solid when applied correctly.
get some fog lamp surrounds then you can drill those and if you dont like them / sell the car you can put it back to normal
