General dash lighting.

after finishing my white dials (massive thanks to AofB for his guide/help! cheers tom) they glow blue, but not blue enough so i am gonna change the bulbs in the back for blue ones to make sure!

however i have no idea if i can even get those bulbs in blue, let along where to get them.... any ideas? they look like smaller versions of side lights! and they have to glow blue, not just look it!

the other option is to use that tail light tinting spray to physically tint the bulbs, but at £15 for a can, i would rather spend a few quid on bulbs!

can anyone help?

Most motor shops do different colour interior lights. My mate gave me a red one. It's sat on my desk, not tried it yet

mase; not a clue, its called bulb laquer and thats about all i know, halfrauds down 'ere sell it but will be more expensive than it would be in a motor factor stylee shop if you can find one with 'em

yea man, there is one right behind my rents crib... was gonna go there to ask about blue bulbs so if they aint got any of them then it may have to b laquar.

but been talkin to tom an he says the lacquar may not withstand the heat!

Well...may not, but I was talking about glass paint (like the stuff yu buy in B+Q), so dunno if the lacquer would be any different!

I used an OHP pen on 5 of my bulbs. - The window controls, heater controls and the interior light. THe ink came off the window controls bulbs, but I blame that on the fact that I was holding it on ink, and didnt fill it back in!

The "Bling" red interior light and heater lights work fine (apart from the fact that i killed the interior lightbulb one day, and the heater lights have died:bang
