I have just put may car in for the MOT and it passed. On the advisory notes it said one of the dampers had oil resedue (spelling). How much would this cost to fix and what are the best dampers to get. If cheap enough I might get new dampers and springs all round to lover my bravo 40mm. How much would the spring and dampers cost and how much for fitting.

Time for an early christmas present for the car :)

Always change dampers as pairs, front or back.

I like bilsteins, several people have now fitted the bilstein streetline kit which lowers 35mm I think for £200.

Re: Re: Dampers

Is that for 4 spring and dampers. plus how much to fit them ?

Re: Re: Re: Dampers

4 springs, 4 dampers, fitting is either a couple of hours yourself or give a local garage a few beer tokens to do it for you. £50ish probably.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Dampers

Would you reccommend this as oppose to going down 40mm. If so then i will get them ordered.

When can I buy them from?

Thanks for the speedy reply and advice, you are the man!
