Damp Seatbelt

Now this is a funny one.

Has anyone ever had a problem with a wet seatbelt?

Recently my front passenger belt has been getting wet. The carpets, roof trim, etc are all dry, just the belt itself is wet. It seems to be damp behind the trim for some reason.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

when you remove the seatbelt does it recline into the holder properly or quickly??

Maybe a case that it hasn't and has been stuck in the door!

It pulls back with no problem, it wasn't hanging out the door. I'm baffled by this. Thanks for the reply though.

Could it be water leaking through the sunroof and draining down inside the central pillar?
