Hi all... I'd like to receive an advice about a problem occurred this afternoon:I've replaced the rocker cover's gasket as it was leaking but I damaged the threads of one of its screws:slayer: .Now I don't know if it's possible to work on the thread to fit a bigger screw...any ideas!?

can you use a longer bolt and put a nut on the end
get the correct tap for the thread and 'chase' the thread. or as rallycinq advised.get another rocker cover bolt and cut slots along the length of the bolt,use that to chase the thread by working it back and forth gradually working in.
you can either use this as the bolt or replace it. a little fine oil can help when chasing the thread.i used 3 in1
