Dakar cancelled

Just in case any of you were planning on watching the Dakar this year, like i was, it has been cancelled due to security reasons

Surely it would make it an even more challenging event , surely giving into terrorist demands just sends all the wrong signals IMO.

Thought they would cancel stages, didn't think they would cancel the whole event.
The country to blame isn't to happy cause of the poor tourism signal that sends out.
