Technical CV Joint

Hi I Had my car repaired now and found out it wasnt the cv joint but was the shaft instead, but untill looking it up on Eper I didnt realise the shaft has been modified by fiat. but its all sorted now apart from a Squeak which has now developed when running at very low speed.

Is that the drive shaft or steering wheel shaft?

It didnt cost me a thing as itwas still covered under warrenty, but my surprise was that the shaft it self had been modified due to a problem after my car was in production and I havent heard about it
