HI guys
Iv just serviced my 99 fiorino 1.7td,,,now i find that whenever i leave it parked on a slight hill and try an start it again,it cuts out,,,give it a couple of trys and then it will fire up and away to go,,,its only started to do this after i changed the fuel filter, but it was fine when i started it directly after changing it,,any sudgestions??? and i allways fill the new filter before fitting it,,,and it doesnt do it when its parked on the flat or down hill... thanks in advance

Without any further info I would go with a slight air lock caused by changing the fuel filter. As far as I am aware ther eis no fuel pump in the tank and the fuel system is gravity fed. I would make sure I had at leat half a tank of diesel at all times as I suffered an air lock that wouldn't allow the car to start. I used a manual hand pump to push through the diesel while the pipe was disconnectd aththe fuel unit in the engine bay. Also never use biodiesel. It does the seals in.
