Does anyone know if it's possible to paint a set of wheels like OZ superleggera in two different colours. Like a gunmetal for the spokes and a hyper silver or similar for the lip. Or would this cause problems having the two types of paint basically touching where the spokes meet the lip ?

You can buy arospeed alloys in two tone colours! Here are some examples; i know my mate had some OZ multi spoke alloys and he got his paint in different colours; well they kinda change colour in the sun, like a pearlessence i suppose! They looked awesome but cost quite a £££ to get done, i know he got them done at one of these centre's that also repair's alloys, etc.. Might be just as cheap to buy a new set like these arospeed 1's! They do quite a few of colour mix's, i just found these 1's quick!

Thanks guys ;)

@ 1.8Stilo : They are cool wheels, in fact the aerospeed ones were part of my shortlist for new wheels, but when it means I will need 4 new tyres and the wheels because i would buy 18s, then im looking at £1000. If its not going to give me an absolute improvement over the ones i have got now then im not too keen on splashing out that much dosh.

@ Chrisunoman : Thats the sort of thing im looking for, not too sure how much it will cost to get done but I think i will contact them..

This is the look that im after... be honest guys and let me know if I should go ahead or leave them as they are..

cheers for the input WRP.. I am very tempted with the wheels..
Yeah its a new rear apron BUT the one you see in the picture is not painted yet and its only been placed on for a quick photo to see how it looked before i got it done. Seeing as Fiat are paying for it to be fitted I may as well go for it. :) Do you like it ?

Your car is lovely! And i think the antracite/silver rimmed alloys would make it look even better! (y)

I will get some good pics up once the cars been finished.

The exhaust needs to be re-situated and lengthened, the splitter does make the car look a lot deeper and wider at the back where its needed..
As i said, i was gonna get some 18s on it but i recon if those wheels look as good as they do in that picture when they have been finished then there's no need to get bigger, cuz for some reason they look right in the size that they are, or is that just me ?

The cars lower so the wheels do look bigger. But if I had a Stilo id still put 18s on it :nerner: Looks fine with 17s though
18s would also give me a harsher ride so if at all possible i want to get away with the 17s, if anything I could always lower it another 15mm..

I think it looks great as it is! I wouldnt lower it anymore, it looks suberb! And i reckon 17s look right for your car, 18s imo would look too big!

Thanks for all the input guys, I'm pleased you like it as it is chrisunoman, i think i'll go along with your comments there and just get the wheels painted up. Now to find a local company that can do it asap.. I'm gonna have to go without the car most of next week anyway, so maybe i could try to get them to collect from the bodyshop.

its the MS-Design kit and no im not gettin the front done as i think it looks a bit taccy on the blue colour...photoshop sure comes in handy... the rieger kit is pretty much the same though.

Hi KoArAng

It sounds like you've made your mind up?....but just wanted to say I think the two tone wheels would look great. In the moc-up you've done it gives the car a sort of 'Touring' car 'Le Mans' look to it. Plus the rear splitter does look great...how come Fiat are paying for the fitting though??
