Crazy day today, called up this body shop to get info about custom kits (y) and found out exactly how it works production wise an stuff. (y) and was pritty shocked. was prepared for a high price aswell. He was just giving us an average price but still £6k. Its a good job i am really after keeping the car for some time. (y)
Question is, am i going crazy wanting to do all this stuff to my car? :D By the time i have finished i would of roughly spend around 13k on the car :chin: , with all the stuff i want to do to it. (y) I bought it for £300 :slayer: everyone says am mad. Let us know what ys think bout this n probably help us out. :tempt:

6k for a custom kit... how custom are we talking?

What bodyshop gave you that quote? And what are you wanting to have done?

lol 6k! :p i work in a bodyshop and ur being led along, no custom kit will ever cost that much. paint wise, graphic wise yes maybe but kit naaaaaah what you want done to it?

It was mynheer but the guy said thats for a mad top custom kit, everything done that you can. I have never got a quote for 1 before, i just know i want one. What i have got to do is get on photoshop an really give it a kickin until i am happy. Its all foreign to me all this stuff. Why what do you say £££wise Roughly for a Reasonable custom kit?

Are you wanting a total custom kit, ie one-off, making-new-moulds style bumpers? Or just bonding different bumpers to your cento ones?

Have a word with Sabre Autostyling in Stockport if your wanting totally one off.

If you just want another bumper bonded to your originals, most bodyshops will do this, its not specialist at all.
