Croma Croma 1.9 16V Eleganza

Introduction

So I picked up my "new" Croma today. Very pleased so far. No prblems and according to the trip computer it did 48 MPG on the 50 mile journey home on mostly single carriageway A roads with traffic. Pictures attached.

Robert.
Apologies. The previous post should have been in direct response to the pics...

Nice. Looks identical to mine. Hopefully yours doesn't have a problem with the swirl flaps in the inlet manifold...

I don't think so. It pulls like a train in all gears

I did drive a different one a few months ago and it did have issues, so I passed on that one. I did a lot of research before deciding on a Croma. I know there are problem areas, But I don't mind spending a little to get a sorted long term daily drive.

Hi Robert, I did the sane thing, but didn't catch the prob with the swirl flaps. Other issues have been normal wear and tear and for the price I paid for one that looks as tidy as yours I'm still happy...

Same thing, not "sane", however, given the price of a more conventional choice, it probably is the sane thing... :)
