General Crazy consumption of fuel!!

You keep bleating on about your "bad thermostat" but not everyone's situation is the same and in this case daily temperatures of -5C you will really struggle to get an engine up to temperature

not rly, it only takes longer to get up to temp but it stays there, still dodgy thermostat!

my 16v used to sit under 90 on the temp gauge in winter.,

A:no it wasn't. it was brandnew stat/from fiat.(genuine one not whitebox Trash)

It doesn't make any difference, same block, same cooling system 16v doesn't run any hotter or colder

or no heat from heater..tempgauge yo-yo effect


then id say possible iffy stat.


but as theres nowt mentioned..id say leave as is why fix what isn't broken
not only that..he might open a can of worms




with the heater gurgle and nightmare of bleeding the system aftermath

SOLVED:

The car finally reach 90 degress and stays there while i drive. I changed the thermostat with a new one and new coolant-liquid!
