General crashed my car what to do :(

was coming down road 2day when car two in front breaked then the one in front did,i went to and went straight into the back of a vauxhall astra new one

.its in a bit of a mess bent the front pannel and the drivers wing smashed lights and rad.what should i do with it i dont want to scrap it any idea on price and where i could take it here is the mess.

Bad luck, usually at times like this people would usually offer you parts for free or at a big discount, but I think you might be out of luck

If it is that bad best give it up as it will not be worth fixing.

If the two cars in front collided before you hit the 2nd car then you can claim they closed the gate on you, maybe, and try claiming on the 2nd cars insurance company. If you dont tell yur company it wont affect your ins no claims...

Donno, you gotta use your judgement on that call.

If it is not badly distorted then you need to start shopping around for the replacement bits... but check carefully for distorsion as the hydraulic jig 'streatch' will be a part of the repair £...

You have not addressed all the points,

Did you get a description of the ladies car and year, any part of her plate the police will be interested?

If 1st car out braked the 2nd car i.e. if they collided, before you did, then you can claim the accident was not your fault, but the lady drivers, and the 2nd cars. If the 2nd car is stopped by a collission then this reduces you capability to avoid an accident.

So did the other two cars collide?

It is a simple question no or yes?

If you were tail gating you have a problem... Even when an accident is not your fault it is a problem sorry.

right 3 cars involved one that pulled out unown no plate didnt see car ect, the car in front of me and me lol.the car pulled out then car in front breaked sharp then i did but went into back of him. the driver in front wife is pregent so he was looking after her the woman got away without seeing any discription.ringing body shops tomoz to try get price

there is no point its 13/14 years old and not economically viable, the car was worth less than what it would cost to repair it. Any insurer will write it off, if you repaired it yourself i dont think it would pass the VIC either as its too far gone for me

Ouch! If you have the space I'd keep it as a project car. There are some Cinq's going reasonably cheap on ebay/pistonheads/autotrader if you're after a replacement.

easy enough to get it driveable/legal.

spoke to a few peeps and it can be repaired, going to take the rad off tomoz and cut the front pannel off. the wing is off now so just need the front pannel welding on and wing putting on new rad and maybe few wires sorting,

I had a VIC done on my other, i heard mixed things about it. Some say they do actually check the quality of the work ?

im going to call bodycraft in the morning,any idea what insurence will do or say as i went into the back of him and i will need to pay for his rear end damage do the insurence come out or....im only third party so wont get anything for my car.

cars must pass the mot before vic test, the mot checks the car is ok. (so just give it a dodgy test and your ok ) but something might be up if the headlights, bonnet etc are missing :devil:

but is the other person even claiming on his insurance? edit- thats a no his third party.

TPFT means they will pay for the other party to get their car fixed, but won't give u nothing for yours.
