I have just bought a catch tank to vent the crank case, however on the cars as standard there is the main crank case breather hose, that feeds back to the air intake.
However there is also a small tube that connects the the throttle body.
The fiat manual states this is to draw small amouts of crank case gasses into the air intake when idling and closed throttle, as the main breather will be shut off.
If fitting after market induction and or oil catch tanks. Do most people cap of this small vacuum hose or link it up somehow? I'm inclined to cap it off but don't wan't to do so if its vital lol
When the k&n was fitted it retained that vacuum hose and fed into the intake, but on the new system it will look messy and require some fidlding, that i'd like to avoid
Opinions?
