General Cracking Open the ECU.

How do I get inside the thing!!! I want to rescue the Immobiliser code so I can order a Mckrich chip!!!!

Please help a brother

Nevermind. I found it in the guides section

you have to remove ecu.

the back has a flat piece of alloy or tin. it is set in a silicone glue.

get a stanley knife and try and cut/remove the glue. go round a few times...

then get a screwdriver and gently lever lid up. i removed mine without breaking or bending tin.

to be greeted with a soldered chip!!!!

if your's is so get another ECU with a clip in chip cos no point soldering etc..
