Technical Cracked Gearbox Casing...

Main dealer as ever taking the P in the hope you'll buy a new car. They are all as bad Fiat, Ford and the rest.

Main Dealer has no influence on the majority of the price- its Fiat who have raised the cost astronomically in the past few years.

10 years ago when I started, a fully recon'd and guaranteed 'box was a bargain at £300!

I should have been more careful. I think the main dealers get squeezed from both ends because people want to keep older cars running and the manufacturers want to scrap them to sell more new cars.

I've said before about my Bro's old Italian Uno that easily beat the emissions targets for much newer cars but it became illegal to use because it wasn't a Euro 2 car. Of course that law wasn't influenced by Fiat or any of the other car industry members.

While the gearbox is still draining:sleep:
I decided to look for a replacement box, i can get a second hand gearbox with triple the mileage to the one i have for £30. from ebay

Or a recon for £300 - £500 but i will have to give them my current gearbox aswell...

Is there a difference between the 55 5 speed manual to the 75 5 speed manual or even the sport 5 speed manual?
