Couple of Q's about injectors.

Hi all,

My spray pattern light comes on when i start the car but then imediatly goes off, does this indicate a problem or is it normal?

Also what is the cost of having all of the injectors re fitted with new - approximate?

I am just curious as the car which runs fine is a bit well growly (noisy) if you know what i mean and i am wondering if its the injectors or the timing being sligtly out?, havent changed sparks yet should that be the first thing?

car is fiat brava 1.6 1998. (16V).

The injector light is supposed to go on initially, then go off a few seconds later... so nothing to worry about there..

As for the noise... does your exhaust have a leak ? that could cause a bit more noise then normal..

Might be worth giving it a service, so change of plugs, filter etc could make it run/sound better too...

mmm thanks yes my exaust has had a bit of a bash from the last owner at the silencer end, a slight hole on the bottom, how much to replace one of those any ideas.

As for the lights coming on and off thanks, feel better now. will cahnge plugs anyway why not really.

so yes probably the exhaust....thanks again.
