So the 1.2 doesn't have aircon at all? I guess it would destory the fuel economy and start going backwards :p

Up until 53 plate the 1.2 Stilo did have Aircon, car would manage with aircon, but you would drop from 6th to 5th to maintain speed on motorways when on an incline.

1.2 shifts the weight of the Stilo pretty well, 6 speed suits the engine well. 1.2 Stilo has decent bhp for its size, just not massive torque.

I wonder where that guy found out Stilo is encap 4 star, its not of the Euro encap site, or any place i've looked. Maybe he just assumed it would be the same as the Alfa 147, which the 5 door is NOT based, only the 3 door.
 
Anyone notice:

1. Alarm in a 1.2 Active Stilo? Surely he'd have listed it in the options bit, as it was never standard.
2. Dolby Surround Stereo? I know it's got Dolby B NR for the tape player, but as for surround sound . . .
3. ESP?? - thought that was only fitted on 1.8 and 2.4's as standard, again, surely it would be listed in his options bit.
4. 8 Airbags - must have optional rears.
5. Privacy Glass?

Also, just goes to show how much time I have on my hands, look at the rear wiper; its on the wrong side!!

I'm guessing that this was sourced from Europe, I've seen others like this and although they are right hand drive they are French specification and are badged DYNAMIQUE, strange but true!
 
all a bit fishy really...

Not too keen on his description at all, very questionable!

Oh, btw, originally all Stilo's had ASR, but it was later dropped from standard on all but 1.8 and 2.4 (esp annoying as the JTD costs more than the 1.8!!!), so that bit may well be true!
 
5. He does have privacy (tinted) glass as far as i can see? Look at the pictures....

Apart from that I cannot comment.
 
I've not seen a Stilo that doesn't have surround sound, even the cheap models have 6 speakers, 2 of which are in the back, creating surround sound!

Believe it or not, the Polo 1.4 Twist, which was priced about the same as the lower Stilo only have 4 speakers, and they are all in the front! :/
