i went to see my mates and took them for a drive, the car was full of big rugby players and when i went round a roundabout the rear arch was scraping the tyre. Its a standard sei sporting with 13s, is this normal??

congrats, if they are very heavy and you were turning quite quick, maybe...
it would be on the inside of the arch scaping and not the actual wheel arch

hummm not sure, i cant get neone in the back of mine!lol! but i have mine lowered and on 14s with big tyres!!.
How many ppl did you have in? and answer the next question honestly was you goin to fast round the roundabout?? Maybe next time ya fill the back seats you should get out and see how low the back looks Soz not very helpful!x

Congratulations mate i know what its like i started driving last february and passed on august the 9th bloody good fun are centos.
Ive only had my cinq fully loaded with people once and that was before i lowered it but still with 14" alloys and tyres and it was damn low and i always drive my cinq 'enthusiastically' but it only rubbed slighlty and that was because all my shockers had burst i dont think a car with good dampers should rub at all.
