Technical :confused: if i bang it will it work ?

if i wack the starting motor will it work ?

been told by a few people if i do it will BUT cant find the starting motor so any1 no where it is ?

a pic or a diagram would be helpful

buy a new one then you wont have to bang it

Depending on the car engine you have Im guessing its a 1.2 8V?? It is located under the inlet manifold which may be difficult to bang!

if it is jammed then hitting it will free it up.

if it is actually broken hitting it isn't going to magically fix it

it should be a long cylinder at the back of the engine

bangin it with a hammer didnt do out :-( so looks like its broken :-(
any1 no roughly i can get 1 4 ( not scrappie) where i live the whole engines get ripped out and sold on :-( mite have to say goodbye to her too many things goin wrong lol
