The Coupe was designed by Fiats in-house design centre!

I got that info directly from the Coupe brochure, so unless Bangle was working for Fiat at some point they're wrong.
The americans idea of a great looking coupe is the Chrysler crossfire :yuck:

The Coupe was indeed designed by Chris Bangle, who has a beard, and who worked for FIAT until 1992. BMW then stole him and he has since produced many a crap car. Mind you it's all a matter of taste, I love the Coupe but a lot of people hate it.
I've also heard (on the internet) that Bangle designed the (controversial) Multipla, but that's bol-ocks as it was designed long after he left. I guess people just associated him with cars that look a bit dodgy.

Actually, I think I may have been a bit quick to judge them. It's a Canadian site, not an American one and they aren't actually a bad bunch.
