What's the mileage ?

Check your coolant levels in the expansion tank (when engine is cold, ideally before you start it for the day), is it dropping ?

How long does it take for the Temperature guage to reach optimum (middle position) ?

When driving for the 1st time each day, is the road level or on an incline ?

Its probably over fueling due to the choke as its a 52 reg next time your in for a service [thats if you use a Fiat dealer ]ask them to stick it on the examiner to check the Throttle body ECU updates do you get an erratic tick over as well at times ??

thanks for ya replys everyone , coolant level is fine and its a level road , been told today by and auto spark n fuel inj guy that it could be a too lean mixture when cold but fine when warmed up , oh idle is fine hot or cold
