If you have the code card it should have two codes on. A 5 digit code which is the code for programming and emergency start. The second code the mechanical code which is the code to cut a key from starting W0 fork mk2 Punto or DE for mk2b
I have lost my keys. I have a blue key that came with car but doesn't start engine. Maybe it's lost its programming?
If I have those codes/numbers then I can get the key reprogrammed anywhere? And can I get a replacement key without the vehicle having to be with the key guy?
And do the numbers on the key itself relate to anything?
A new key needs to be programmed to the car so the car is needed to program the key even if you have the codes. The numbers on the key don't mean anything that helps in this instance.
The key needs to be ordered from Fiat or made up specially for your car by an auto locksmith.
