My PS3 has just died a death (just before I was gonna buy GT5 :bangI'm in two minds weather to replace it or not.
So that's two people with both consoles bother swinging in favour towards the 360
3 people. Got both, 360 is miles better for games and online experience.
How many have actually had both consoles and compared them side by side over six months or more. Used them for streaming movies and music from a PC, playing BluRay HD movies, playing a large assortment of games(including online) and all at the maximum resolution of 1080p/24?
I have and I prefer the PS3.
Xbox's are just a cheap and cheerful alternative to the PS3 most are connected to low res tv's in kids bedrooms because thats all they're good for.

I own a PS3, but im a Nintendo-kid at heart being a true 80's baby.
Nintendo are the true console kings, the only company that tries new things, then get their ideas raped by the new comers. The only company that truely encapsulates gaming to its fullest. True it doesn't have the best graphics, and most games are a little too energetic for the kids of today, but they try the hardest and put the most into their own games.
Only REAL gaming company left, Long live Shigeru Miyamoto and his kids Mario, Link, StarFox
now let the older folk bring up the atari, commador etc
BTW, I won't be purchasing another Treyarch game, imma wait for the other company to make CoD, since they make the superior version. Having said that Zombies is REAL good.

Ive missed the wii.1st ninty console i havent owned
I will get one but i dont have loads of time nowadays
kinda hoping they will retain backwards compatibility on the next console and i can get the games but with HD (im sure it will be)
TBF in my opinion this one is better than MW2 for online play, not sure why think it is because you can get the stuff you want pretty quickly and you aren't cannon fodder for the 1st 20 levels till you get the good stuff
Agreed that its great you can unlock stuff earlier if you choose to buy it. But the Online GAMEPLAY sucks so bad it actually hurts my eyes to play. :yuck:
Empty a full clip in a player and they don't die, they turn around and then kill you with ONE bullet. Gets old pretty quick.
MW2 was so much better to play but also got old with the bad traits people pick up on it.

i've never been one to sit on COD for hours at a time but i've never bothered with this one much, compaign or online, life pretty hectic atm but still.. after playing MW2 again when i had mates over we all decided it's better than BO, maps, much better menu etc.
Play hardcore...1-2 bullet kills with most weapons, sounds like you having issues with latency

Not played it online yet but single player was pretty good, more of a 360 fan myself bought a PS3 when it came out the 60GB one before they downgraded it, had to sell as it done nothing just sat there only good thing was the blu-ray and a few exclusives, web browser was pointless too slow to use and online was crap but still a good console just prefer my 360
Connections always full dude, its just so annoying.
I only play hardcore on MW2 - Wanted to get used to the game before i started on black ops. But i dont think I will be playing the game again anyway.
I was made to leave my PS3 up my fiance's house so that I'll concentrate on getting a new job instead of playing it all week :-( I feel so lost.
She calls Black Ops my "Babysitter"... because she knows that she can plant me infront of it and she can go have a shower, do some tidying, hoovering, make some lunch, etc... knowing that I will be in the exact same position when she gets back! Cheek of it
