Technical CN+ CD Player & Changer Anmesia

Has there ever been a solution for the CN+ system's memory problems?

i.e. Not remembering that it was playing a CD (or the position on the CD) before the engine was turned off and reverting to the radio when the car is turned back on again.

Not that I know of! Didn't seem to be cured in 9.8.
