Hi,
Got a 1998 mk1 60S, when i depress the clutch pedal it gets about 3/4 way down and makes a clunk/click type noise before going the rest of the way. This happens both if changing gear when driving, or pressing the clutch pedal down when the engine is off. Gear changes seem fine.
I've done a quick search which suggests either the pedal itself, the clutch release bearing or the clutch. Where would the best place to start diagnosing be?
Oh, and is it a hydraulic clutch on the 60?
Thanks in advance!
