Technical Clutch Cable

Mine recently went, i managed to get home without a clutch
How many times has yours gone?
also anybody else modified the plastic quadrant? i modified it with a rivet. Now when it snaps i know its the metal bend through the quadrant or the cable.
This was the 3rd time that mine has gone in about 8 years i had it

I've never had a cable go, or a quadrant.

I have been running on an RAC replacement for the last 2 years. I have a new clutch cable sitting in my passanger footwell that I keep putting off - it looks like a pretty tricky job and am unsure where to start tbh.

My cable also went on my first cinq about a yr before the clutch starting making strange noises. the clutch was replaced the same weekdn I wrote it off!
