How do I replace the roof mounted aerial on my Punto. I don't know how to get at it. Any ideas.

I presume this is Mk2?

1) Remove the trim on the a-pillars (to the sides of the windscreen)
2) Remove the sun-shades above the windscreen
3) Remove the base for the sunshades
4) Remove the interior light and electric sunroof controls (if you have one) by levering with a screw-driver
5) Remove the trim around the sunroof (if you have one)
6) Remove the headlining as far back as the back of the front doors
7) If you have a sunroof, remove the motor (3 screws) and let it drop down to the now lowered headlining
8) You can now replace the base of the aerial
9) Re-trace the above steps to put everything back together. Make sure the gear-wheel on the sunroof motor lines-up with the tracking

Hope this helps. If you have a sunroof you might want to open it first as this makes holding the aerial base 100 times easier (y)
