Is the best quote from "gain more at" - Gainmanor Fiat.

Benfield are "coming back to me" but thats what they said when I asked them for a price on both a Punto HGT and the Stilo :(

That price includes Pirelli P-Zero Nero's :D

Spring clatter, surely that could only happen if your shocks were shot, i'd have thought your springs should never compress fully, or you'd suffer from horendous bump steer!

I guess the Eibach ones are worth it, seeing as you could say to your insurer they are the ones used on the Abarth model in the range of your car, therefor not necessarily a modification, more of an upgrade used by Fiat itself?!?

Probably won't get tyres for my alloys until the spring, seeing as i've a good 10k left in the tyres and crappy weather is just around the corner. That way i can do the wheels, springs and exhaust all at the same time for a quick transformation when the weather improves. :D

Mate the coil doesn't compress fully, but do compress enough just to touch each other and be bloody noisy at times (esp. on uneven surfaces) :( .

Yeah....................

mine clatter over speedbumps, so I had them checked out by my FIAT dealer and they said they are fine, so no problem.

Carlo, what do you mean by silicone spray, WD40 ???

Yeah WD40 will be fine too. I used silicone coz thats what I had handy and it worked a treat.

Re: Ok.........................

So if eibach one clang and PI ones clang, why is it worth my while spending an extra £40 buying the more expensive items? Plus its that old, under a ton, over a ton conundrum. When its less than 100quid say £99.99 it always seems a better deal than £101

Eibach are made from a better quality compound and the coils are coated with a strong rubber. I'm on the www.puntomk2.co.uk forum alot and the majority of members would recommend Apex and Eibach, quality wise. If you on a budget the P-I kits work fine bar the clatter, which only really can be heard when the window is open.

Stiloboy.............................

I have to say this, I don't ever think I've met anyone as tight, oops, sorry, careful with money as you! What's up man, you only live once, have what you want and do what you want. You can't take the bloody money with you! If you mention, fuel economy, prices of accessories, saving money, stocks and shares or anything to do with money ever again I'm going to delete the threads! We don't want to hear it! Money, money, money, you should have been an accountant or Chancellor of the Exchequer!

Now change the bloody record!

If you keep that up your going to get a complex, remember to take a deep breath ;)

Apologies to the others...................

but all Stiloboy ever goes on about is money and fuel economy, I just wish he'd learn to enjoy his car without worrying about the cost!

Another example, he bought a new set of alloys but won't put them on until he's worn out his current tyres which have another 10,000 miles in them if he drives gently, his words not mine, my words are, GET A LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Apologies to the others...................

Whats it like being the only human big furry fangita twinny! ;)

I'm getting an F-ing divorce, try it some time! I can only afford these alloys 'cos i'm living one Farmfoods food at the moment, i'm probably harder up than your average Stoodent.

Re: Ah ballacks............................

Average student? Farmfoods?! Try Lidl, try no car, not even a £300 one due to insurance, try finding it hard to pay for a TV license.

Re: Does he mean....

TC, if he tyres have 10k left on them I am sure it makes sense, financially AND environmentally to keep them on!

James is an average student, yeah right!
