:slayer: the grill is still in place, look what happend with the front bonnet edge since Oct 2011.

Not sure what the fascination with mk1 grilles is, much prefer my mk2 grilles on my mk2's

I prefer the look of the Mk1 grille, but there again I prefer Mk1s, there's a certain purity and lack of pretence to them, none of that bulging rear wheel arch and plastic side trim malarkey.

pretty sure MOST mk1's has plenty of plastic side trim..

I seem to remember Sprox (Graham) moved down to Cornwall for a job which is where the car is pictured most recently. He's not been on in yonks. It had a Y10 anti roll bar painted red as well.
