Technical cinquecento steering

Hello,
Can somebody please advise.
I own a 96 Cinquecento (899cc) and was wondering what was the possibility of retro fitting the power steering. Is it feasible and what is needed.

i asked the same question a few days ago

its probably not worth it,you need the steering rack,the column,the steering wheel,and the sei stalks,the power steering control box,and the power steering box thing,

then you have to find a way of getting it all to work properly with a cinq,

really not worth the hassle.besides the steering is light enough isnt it?

if not,go pump your tyres up and notice the difference

its feasible using sei parts but TBH never felt i needed it even with wider profiles

AFAIK, Fiat never did an 899 with power steering. You'd need (dunno how!) a Sei MPI gearbox (almost certainly an engine to match), ECU, column, motors ......

It's (at least!) an aweful lot of work. And then, why you want powersteering on an 899?
