I recently bought a 1.4 16v 95 hp engine from a fiat punto sporting mk2 (188) with ECU and engine loom (at a very good price luckily).
I have a cinquecento sporting 1.1 8v spi and the plan is to put the 1.4 in it and use the car only for track. :slayer:
I know there are posts about similar projects in the forum (all quite old), I have read them, but I still have a lot of questions.
Almost all my doubts are about the electrical part, I would like to do it in the simplest way possible
My main question is if it is possible to use the original 1.4 ECU and its engine wiring loom. (or some midpoint between the 1.4 and 1.1 engine loom).
I plan to replace the coil on plug and use the cinq 1.1 wasted spark system, can I use too the punto mk2 1.4 intake manifold changing maybe the fly by wire throttle body?
I hope you can help me and give me some advice on what would be the simplest option, thanks!
