General Cinquecento 899cc heater

hi can you help?? its my heater it works brill untill i stop and leave the car running then the heater blows out cold air but as soon as i drive off the hot air comes back threw???

Water pump is weak. Its not pumping enough water at idle.

Change it before you run into bigger problems.

could it be air cuz when i did the tappits i had to take the water pipe off to get the carb off

no i forgot to bled it after,ill give it a go anyway do i just run the car and take the end of the bleed pipe??

No, you do it cold, make sure the reservoir is topped up and open the valve on the bulkhead first. Then do the front one.

I presume(hope) you haven't been using the car over the last 5 days.

bulkhead??? I only can see the pipe behind the drivers side headlight, were is the other one??? Sorry about this

Yours is an 899, so u only have one bleed so bleed it from that

I presume that in the gaps between your posts you are not using the car.
