My daughter has had a new clutch fitted to her 1997 Cinque 900S and for the clutch to operate normally I have had to adjust the cable so that the pedal travel is now in excess of the specification in Haynes (105 to 115 mm). Is this spec correct, has anyone noticed similar in the past or is this a fault?

Operate normally...what do you mean? Engage and Disengage fully?

IME its just best doing it all on feel...regardless of the spec tbh.

Is the bite really high or really low? It could just be a old clutch, my 1242 has got a clutch thats covered about 10k at absolute most and the bite is real low regardless of where I set the pedal to travel to.
