General Cinq Vs. Saxo

While driving through Leeds earlier I had an episode with a Saxo. I parked up at some traffic lights and saw him coming in my rear-view in the next lane. He stopped just behind me so I couldn't see what it was without turning my head (and i hate doing that!). So I gently accelerated away and he flew off but i caught sight of a silver badge on the C-pillar. I thought, "why would a "forte" model be that quick?" Anyway, i pulls up behind at teh next lights and thought "right, then buddy. I'm having you". Opened it right up. I'm tlaking 6k in every gear, dragstrip style. Really got my 0-60 going. He still flew away and left me for dead. It was only when i pulled up alongside at the bus station that I realised that the "forte" badge was actually "16v" and the Saxo was actually a "VTS"

Now you wanna talk about feeling "this big"

I was quite proud of my car though. It didn't stand up to the Saxo at all but I was doing 65 before i knew it!
